ARTIST: Kristina Applegate Lutes

Kristina A. Lutes has been a working freelance artist and illustrator since 1990. Working in both traditional and digital media, her work features people, animals, landscapes, cultures and religions. She is a Dean's List graduate of The Art Institute of Boston with a B.F.A. (Fine Arts).

Kristina lives in Vermont with her husband and two young children. She and her family own and operate a small farm, raising their own livestock, vegetables and some fruit. Additional family projects include fixing up old homes in Maine as well as selling barn window mirrors in their ebay store front, during the cold winter months.

Currently Kristina is developing a series of children's books starring their pet Llama, Johnny. Bitsela is pleased to feature signed book-quality illustrations of Johnny in our Artists' Gallery. Kristina also created the star whimsey clipart, Aleph-bet set with fruit, and several other clipart images found in our galleries.
